God saw you were getting tired;

And a cure was not to be;

So he put his arms around you, and whispered, ''Come with me''.

With tearful eyes we watched you suffer, and saw you fade away,

Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest;

God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best.

     

                                                                                          

Four years have gone by, since I last saw your beautiful face...hugged you for the last time, I have learned to live with the pain of your loss. You have helped me in so many different ways. I thank you...I love you...my dearest mom.

 

Death is nothing,

 

I have only gone to the room next door. I am myself. You are yourself. That which I was for you, I continue to be. Call me by my name by which you have always called me, talk to me as you always have. Do not use a different tone, do not take a solemn or sad air. Continue to laugh at that which made us laugh together. Pray, smile, think of me, pray for me. Say my name at home as it has always been said, without any special emphasis, without any trace of shadow. Life signifies that which it has always been. The thread has not been cut. Why would I be away from your thoughts, simply because I am out of your sight? I am not far, just the other side of the road.
